A panicked Stephen runs towards his fellow missionaries as a gunshot interrupts a normal day of spreading religion door-to-door. Though clearly spooked, Stephen keeps quiet about his last stop of the morning, explaining it away as an interaction with a sinister stranger. Soon Stephen's panic grows as he realizes that people are disappearing one by one, and that this phenomenon is connected to the morning's events. In his rapidly increasing instability, he has no choice but to look for answers in the two places he'd like to avoid most: the house he ran from and within himself.

"Hushed" is a 24 minute short film in the spirit of "The Twilight Zone" and is the debut film for Two Man Island Productions co-founders Mark Bell and Vincent Brando. Teaming with Chris Magdalenski, Hushed began development around the fall of 2008. Principle photography was concluded in the summer of 2009, with post-production concluding early in 2010.
